Teddi Mellencamp’s melanoma surgeries were “successful.”

The 41-year-old reality star said “peace out” to 11 melanomas and three lymph nodes after they were removed from her back, encouraging others to be “proactive” if they spot anything unusual on her body.

Teddi, who revealed in October that he had been diagnosed with stage 2 melanoma, wrote on Instagram: “Finally here with another melanoma update, and it’s one I’m happy to share. The pathology is back – the surgeries were successful and the margins are clear. . I also got the results of the genetic tests and there are no mutations we need to worry about. And I just had a healthy mammogram (please don’t forget this either, ladies). So I say peace to 11 melanomas and 3 lymph nodes: Gladly I barely knew you, and hello to a new sense of peace. It’s been eye opening how quickly things can change and it’s a lesson I’ll never forget, or stop talking about. I want nothing more than all of you to be proactive so I don’t have to experience this. Let my scars be your inspiration for preventive care. (sic)”.

Teddi will now have checks every four to six weeks and she admitted that she is “grateful” for all the support she has received.

She added: “I will now continue to have checkups every 4-6 weeks as my doctor says this may be a record number in one area. You know I’m competitive but this is a record I’m not looking to break.” .

“As always, thank you for all the love, support and well wishes. I feel so blessed and grateful for everything.”

Teddi was diagnosed with stage two skin cancer when her doctor discovered an “abnormal spot” on her back, and in October she underwent surgery for the first time to have her melanomas and some lymph nodes removed.

She wrote at the time: “Lots of questions about updates. This is the truth; there aren’t any, which can be one of the hardest parts of this. The waiting. I had surgery yesterday. I had my melanomas removed. I had lymph nodes.” which lit up so they were removed as well and additional biopsies are being done hopefully I get those results soon next wednesday I am going for a full gene mutation test for BRCA2 etc.
